Privacy Policy

RhyseGaming Server Manager (the “App”) is a free desktop application published by Rhyse Gaming. It runs entirely on your own computer to install, configure, run, and back up a Palworld, ARK: Survival Ascended, or Enshrouded dedicated server. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any analytics or advertising service. We operate no servers that receive your data, and there are no accounts, logins, tracking, or telemetry.

Information we collect

None. We (Rhyse Gaming) do not receive any data from the App. Everything you configure — server settings, profiles, backups, and the App’s activity log — is stored locally on your own device and is never sent to us.

Network connections the App makes

To do its job, the App connects to a few external services. These requests go directly from your computer to those services — not through us — and carry no personal information beyond what each request technically requires:

• Your public IP address is looked up via ipify so the App can show you the address friends use to connect. This is only requested when you open the Connectivity page.
• Discord — only if you choose to add a Discord webhook. If you do, the App posts server events (up/down/crash, player join/leave, backups) to the Discord channel you configured. This is entirely opt-in and goes to your own Discord.
• App updates are checked and downloaded from GitHub (our release host).
• Dedicated server files (Palworld, ARK: Survival Ascended, or Enshrouded) are downloaded and updated from Valve’s Steam / SteamCMD service, and the App may query steamcmd.net to see whether a newer server build is available.
• CurseForge — for ARK: Survival Ascended, the Mods page can search CurseForge's public catalog for mods. This uses a key built into the App by default (or your own key, if you set one in Settings) and only sends your search text and CurseForge's own project ids — no personal information.
• Your local network router may be contacted over UPnP if you use the one-click port-forwarding helper. This stays on your local network.
• Your local game server is contacted on your own machine (REST API and/or RCON, depending on the game) to show live status and let you manage players. This is local, machine-to-machine communication.

Each third-party service handles data under its own privacy policy — see ipify, Discord, GitHub, Valve/Steam, and CurseForge.

Data storage and security

All data the App creates — configuration, server profiles, world backups, and activity logs — is stored locally on your device (for example under your user’s application-data folder). You can view, export, or delete it at any time. Because nothing is sent to us, you remain in full control of your data.

Children’s privacy

The App is a server-administration tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
